Arandelas de nailon como estas se utilizan para aislar el blindaje del conductor central en instalaciones de antenas CB. Las arandelas de nailon son imprescindibles para una instalación fiable del soporte de antena. El ABS tiende a agrietarse o, peor aún, a comprimirse bajo presión. Si se comprime, la tensión que mantiene unida la tuerca de acoplamiento disminuye y esta puede aflojarse, lo que a veces provoca la pérdida de la antena.

Cada paquete contiene ocho (8) piezas. Todas tienen un diámetro de 19 mm (3/4") y están diseñadas específicamente para agujeros de 12,7 mm (1/2") y pernos de 9,5 mm (3/8") (tamaños estándar de la industria). El kit contiene tres arandelas con un hombro de 1 mm (0,031"), tres con un hombro de 3 mm (0,125") y dos con un hombro de 5 mm (0,195").
