The 6MR250SEAL offers very smooth midrange response to the upper midrange up to 6 kHz. It is a perfect option as a seal basket speaker replacement in three-way cabinets.

  • Seal back basket simplifies cabinet manufacture, eliminating the need for a separate enclosure for other speakers.
  • Very compact model with only 2.20 of mounting depth, suitable for use in 3-way cabinet systems ( Midbass + Seal Basket + High Frequency Driver or Tweeter).
  • Optimized to deliver detailed reproduction of mid-range frequencies from 400Hz to 6,000Hz.

A light paper cone is mated to a 1.5 voice coil for great sensitivity and a 250 watts power handling. A durable spider suspension, woven cloth surround, and stamped steel frame are combined for durability over many hours of use.

Cabinet builders gravitate towards this driver for use in their systems when looking for a lightweight seal basket midrange.

Using a closed basket design in a speaker like the 6MR250SEAL offers several advantages. Firstly, it prevents interference from a woofer or midbass in a small Hi-Fi cabinet, resulting in a cleaner and more accurate midrange response.

Additionally, the closed basket design contributes to a smooth punch of midbass and midrange, enhancing the overall audio performance of the speaker.
