A M-roll cloth surround, combined with an optimized fiber pressed paper cone, ensure the speakers frequency response is smooth and extends to the high range making an easy transition to a super tweeter, but according to customers, the high-frequency response from this speaker does NOT need support from a tweeter!
Its low-mass yet stiff cone helps provide clean, detailed, high-impact sound reproduction. to ensure the speakers extended frequency response to 14,000Hz and strong vocal presence.

Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 400 Watts RMS musical power
- 145 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
- 135 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18
If you have a super tweeter on your system the recommended LPF is 8,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / LR18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.
