The 8MR500SEAL PRO offers very smooth midrange response to the upper midrange up to 9,000 Hz. Designed to provide definition and high output on midrange frequencies, perfect for use in any high output 3-way system.

Now you can pair this 8 speaker with any 10 or 12 speaker from our PRO Series, to build the ultimate custom Chuchero or PRO Audio systems.

  • A sealed back basket simplifies cabinet manufacture, eliminating the need for a separate enclosure for other speakers.
  • Capable of handling 500 Watt RMS this midrange has enough output capability to keep up with the most powerful drivers, suitable for use in 3-way cabinet systems ( Midbass + Seal Basket + High Frequency Driver or Tweeter).
  • Its naturally damped paper cone is coated with a waterproof coating, ensuring high performance even in harsh damp or wet weather conditions.
  • Optimized to deliver detailed reproduction of mid-range frequencies from 300Hz to 9,000 Hz. A powerful output peak at 400hz reaches 104dB of sensitivity at 1w/1m.

A light paper cone is mated to a large 2 voice coil for great power handling of 500 watts. A durable spider suspension, woven cloth surround, and closed back pressed steel basket are combined for durability over many hours of use.

Using a closed basket design in a speaker like the 8MR500SEAL PRO offers several advantages. Firstly, it prevents interference from a woofer or midbass in a shared cabinet design, resulting in a cleaner and more accurate midrange response.

Additionally, the closed basket design contributes to a smooth punch of midbass and midrange, enhancing the overall audio performance of the speaker.
