3M™ Scotchlok™ Insulation Displacement Connector electrically connects a tap wire to a run (through) wire while insulating the connection. The connector is polypropylene insulated and self stripping.
- Red, polypropylene-insulated connector
- Suitable for general purpose electrical connections on an auto, boat, van or trailer
- Accommodates 22 to 18 AWG solid/stranded or 16 AWG stranded
- Rated for 600V building wire and 1000V rated for signs, fixtures and luminaires
- The connector withstands temperatures of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C)
