You can ride with the cockpit fully buttoned up and secure from the elements (with the rear deck covered also), or you can flip open the fold-back sunroof and roll away the windows for open-air motoring when you want to enjoy the great outdoors. Bestop Halftops even have a mesh screen in the zip-down rear window to keep pesky bugs out, and Wrangler versions allow you to open the tailgate without detaching the rear-deck cover.
