FireStik MK748R Trunk lip mount kit is a money saving bundle mini kit! FireStik's trunk lip antnnea mount combined with FireStik's award winning Fire-Flex coax cable terminated with a Fire-Ring connector offers a complete ready for installation solution for CB and amateur radio antennas.

The FireStik MK748R is available as the K74 mount only, if you don't need the Fire-Flex coax cable.

The exclusive trunk lip bracket fits over the rear trunk deck and is held securely in place with two Allen head screws. The best part of the MK748R trunk lip mount is that you won't need to drill any holes in your vehicle to complete the antenna installation.

The rear portion on the MK748R mount is supported with twin rubber feet that will protect the finish on your vehicle and comfortably supports antenna masts up to 3 feet tall. The FireStik MK748R mount kit comes complete with K-4 antenna stud and all mounting hardware.

The MK748R mount takes up a small foot print and physically measures 2 inches (50 mm) wide and 2.5 inches (63 mm) deep, while standing 1 inch (25 mm) above the trunk deck without the antenna stud attached. The antenna stud will add an additional 2.1 inches (53 mm) to the height of the mount. You'll need to have about 0.100 inch gap available between trunk deck and vehicle body to ensure trouble free use of the FireStik antenna mount. Underneath the MK748R trunk lip mount you'll need an extra 0.5 inches (13 mm) of space to clear the bracket.

The top of the MK784R is covered with a protective non-marring rubber boot. This helps to eliminate damage to the painted exterior of your trunk during the raising and lowering to store items.

The MK748R utilizes industry Standard 3/8x24 threads for compatibly with accessories and antennas for direct screw attachment to the antenna stud mount.

The MK748R trunk lip mount from the FireStik Antenna Company is rated for antennas up to 3 feet high.

PL-259 connector is supplied loose to allow easiest coax routing inside your vehicle. To finish the coax termination soldering of the connector is required.

Antenna
The FireStik no-hole trunk-lip antenna mount mini-kit is compatible with all CB, 2 meter, and 10 meter antennas that have standard 3/8x24 threaded ferrules.

Mounting bracket
Trunk deck lip mount allow for no holes. FireStik mount clamps to rear trunk lip and is held securely in place with two Allen head screws (Allen wrench is provided).

18 feet of FireStik premium Fire-Flex coaxial cable with FireStik's exclusive Fire-Ring connector furnished with PL-259 loose for user soldering post cable installation.
