PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The WTP4A "Widget" Tilt Plate CB antenna Mount from the FireStik Antenna Company is a general purpose go anywhere tool for antenna mounts. Until FireStik comes up with a superior name, we'll keep calling the WTP4A the "Widget". It is a much catchier phrase than "no name".
The FireStik "Widget" CB antenna mount is a universal mount with multiple almost endless applications. The FireStik WTP4A mount attaches to rain gutters, truck beds, trunk lids, etc. The widget is adjustable to keep your antenna vertical when mounted on sloped surfaces.
A true Swiss army knife in the world of CB antenna mounts, FireStik's WTP4A will tilt your antenna for true vertical for achieving the best possible transmission quality.
Installation notes
The "Widget" is recommended for antennas up to 3 feet tall. It is secured in place by two set screws that are not capable of supporting more weight of a taller antenna. A rubber pad is included to help protect the mounting surface. The "Widget" mount even when properly installed with the pad is likely to leave marks on the mounting surface.
Antenna
The "Widget" antenna mount is designed for CB and amateur radio antennas 3 feet and shorter. Antennas that feature a 3/8x24 threaded ferrule are compatible with the Firestik WTP4A "Widget" mount.
Coax
Recommended coax for this mount would be . You can choose the length - 18' is recommended because that is what is used in field testing.
