NRC: Noise Reduction Circuit: Eliminate background noise!
The DIGIMIKE is here! President now offers a new 6 pin microphone with an NRC (Noise Reduction Circuit) to make your modulation as clear as can be by helping to eliminate background noise. Unlike other noise reducing mics the level of reduction in the digimic is adjustable so you can fine tune the filtering to your liking. Holding down the center button at the top of the mic allows you to select between 5 different NRC levels with the channel up and down buttons. Another thing that sets this microphone apart from other noise cancelling mics is you don't bring the mic all the way to your lips. It should be held at least 4 inches away for optimal levels. Works great with VOX function if your radio offers it.
