Procomm's multiple magnet CB antenna mounts are for heavy duty applications that require extra hold without a permanently attached mount. Each of these mounts is constructed from aluminum bars bolted together to form a framework that is then bolted onto 4 heavy duty 5" magnets. This beast will hold any 3/8" x 24 threaded antenna in our inventory! To test it, we attached a 7 foot KW antenna from Firestik to the mount. We were able to fold the antenna past 90 degrees without budging the mount. That is a serious amount of force!
The mount includes a 3/8" x 24 threaded stud and 18 feet of PRO58U coax with a PL259 connector attached. Each of the magnets has a rubber layer on the bottom to protect your vehicle's finish. As with any magnet, you'll want to make sure the bottom of the magnet and mounting surface are completely clean and free of debris to prevent scratches.
This mount needs at least a 12 inch x 12 inch metal surface to mount on.
