The PRV 12MB2000FT-NDY was engineered for custom doors, as a lightweight/compact high performance 12 midbass for custom door panels!
It offers an unmatched linear response, which you can see very clearly on its frequency response, its vocal output is almost flat giving you the most accurate music response in a wide frequency range.
Pure midbass punch is well controlled down to 80 Hz thanks to its high x-max, which makes it an ideal option for ported cabinet systems that require strong BL magnet force and midbass punch or custom door panels.
A remarkable new addition to the Forte Series, where more power handling and less distortion on mid low midbass frequencies is the key.

Featuring a paper cone with a special high strength paper pulp composition designed to achieve the highest possible linearity within the middle frequency range. In addition, it features a special cone treatment specifically to improve the dampening properties of the moving assembly, consequently improving the vocal frequency response. Its double roll surround keeps cone travel linear at high excursion, giving exceptional vocal clarity and detail while it performs a strong dynamic midbass punch.
The specially designed rigid cast aluminum frame features side forced cooling system openings, allowing airflow to cool the voice coil.
Additionally, a huge neodymium motor assembly is wrapped around with ?THERMOBLADE ? Heatsink to slash heat at an unbelievable rate to handle up to 2000 Watts RMS without any problems.
Its large neodymium motor has enough space for its tall voice coil to travel on high excursion which allows its cone to travel about 1.50 peak-to-peak, giving it a heck of a punch.
Thanks to its silicone spider this speaker can handle high excursion tones without compromising sound quality. This allows it to deliver impressive low frequency performance while maintaining clarity and definition on vocals.
This suspension system ensures excellent control during large high excursions and handling short bursts of excessive power without damage, inheriting this technology from our famous 12MB1500 / 12MB1500FT
Its weight and size per performance ratio makes this the Perfect Door Speaker for a 2-Way door panel, combined with either the D3220Ti-Nd or D3220TiH-Nd.
