PRV Audios 8MB700FT Forte Series was specially tailored to give you more power handling and less distortion. The larger voice coil ensures high heat dissipation and the necessary Bl to deliver high sensitivity even at high power with the minimum distortion.
The lower Qts allows more precise midbass. Superior fidelity is achieved through a perfect combination of a non-pressed cone with a smooth frequency response and its well ventilated magnet motor specially designed to allow high displacement without increasing distortion.

To get superior fidelity, the special composite cone is built with non-pressed paper for reduced break-up, delivering a smooth frequency response and a low moving mass, increasing the efficiency of the speaker.
This 8 is a great midbass option for pro audio systems or high SPL automotive systems, where extremely high output is required.
This midbass will stand up to years of serious professional use! Thanks to its special composed spider reduces distortion at a high excursion and double roll surround keep cone travel linear at high excursion.
Due to its wide frequency band and 97 dB sensitivity rating, this speaker is ideal for pairing with compression drivers, on 3-Way system.
The large 2.5 voice coil allows for the high 700 watts power handling and warrants the outstanding cooling system implemented into the motor.
Engineered with 11 mm of winding depth, this inside/outside voice coil provides excellent thermal and mechanical durability.

Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 700 Watts RMS musical power ( without clipping )

- 90 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter crossover / BT18
If you have compression drivers on your system the recommended LPF is 4,500 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.
